THE DARK TOWER, Stephen King's epic story of Roland, started 22 years ago with the publication of the first volume, THE GUNSLINGER. Printed in a very small quantity of only 10,000 copies, this was intended as a gift for die-hard King fans and not scheduled for mass distribution. King felt, at the time, that the story diverged sufficiently from what had become a reading frenzy that it would not hold interest for his everyday readers.

NF condition. A wonderful book very nicely preserved. Brand new Mylar protective covering. Clean & straight boards. No markings, writings, or stampings. No attached bookplates or signs of any removed. A wonderful bright clean copy. Square and tight spine without binding separation. The book is free of ripped, creased, or missing pages. Dust-jacket not price clipped, with slight edge wear in a couple of spots only. The dust-jacket also has a small 1 inch long closed tear. The dust-jacket does not have any creases. This book stands out as having had great care and would make a wonderful addition to your collection. Great original collectible book from 1982!
