Bound in full leather, all edges gilt, red silk moire endpapers and housed in a red cloth-lined wooden box with lid with a black plate on the lid with brass lettering. Illustrations by Bernie Wrightson. Even includes the original shipping box from Doubleday in 1990, #866 clearly written on one side.

No attached bookplates or signs of any removed.  A well-cared for book, protected from any potential damage. This book stands out as having had exemplary care. Square and tight spine.  No dents to wooden box. This collectible is in the same New condition it was the day it left the factory from Doubleday in 1990. Includes original glassine dust-jacket as shown.
