7 Day Tracking Period
We offer a 7 day tracking period for all affiliates. If a customer visits our website through your affiliate link, that customer's computer is tagged with you for 7 days. So, if the customer visits the website 3 days later and places an order, you will still get commission from the sale. If the customer returns on the 6th day and orders AGAIN, you will again get more commission. If the customer places an order again on the 8th day, you will no longer get any commission.
However, if the customer does not directly visit our website thereafter, and for some reason the customer continues to visit your website and clicks on your affiliate URL every time they visit our website, then you will continue to get commission. Each time they click on your affiliate URL, the days to track is reset, for example back to another 7 days.
Performance Fee Schedule
When you become a veryfinebooks affiliate, you are enrolled in our performance fee schedule. This allows you to earn higher fees when you generate a higher volume of sales during a one month time period. The higher your number of referrals, the greater your earnings will be.
Under the performance fee schedule, your referral rates will range from 5% to 10%, and based on your total number of items shipped during any one month time period. Please refer to the referral rate chart below for additional details.
